An inadvertent visual artwork.

Photographed from below. Water, moisture, damp seeped through ceiling tiles from above over a long time. This created a visual masterpiece born from ruin, where the destruction of a surface gives birth to a beautiful, haunting topography. The paint, now flaking like dry leaves, has fractured into jagged archipelagos. This is a landscape of erosion. This was because today the building has been demolished.

There is an accidental beauty in decay. And when stared at it long enough the shapes and colours, the flaked scabrous edges might resemble meaningful figures like primeval forests, beasts, rivers of fire or even fractured faces with sorrowful eyes.
